Cybersecurity Policy Analyst, Mid

Key Role:

Serve as a Cyber policy analyst conducting research, analysis, development, and coordination of strategy and policy and doctrine analysis for Cyber operations at the national, DoD, Service, and Command levels. Apply technical expertise to executive-level projects and analyze and assess future strategies, policies, and doctrines governing Cyber operations. Provide analytical support for interagency and coalition policy formulations on Cyber issues, ensuring authorities, concerns, and DoD CIO equities are accurately represented.

Basic Qualifications:

-2+ years of experience as a Cyber policy analyst

-Experience in conducting research, analysis and contributing to the coordination of strategy, policy, and doctrine for Cyber operations

-Experience in developing reports and briefings on policy, strategy, and doctrine activities

-Experience with analyzing policies on Cyber issues and researching authorities, concerns, and equities to ensure accurate representation

-Knowledge of existing Joint DoD Cyber policies

-Secret clearance

-BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with providing background support and current status for documents and presentations

-Ability to plan and prepare for interactions with researchers and policy makers

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

-Possession of excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills

-TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph

-MA or MS degree

-DoD 8570-compliant Certification
