Responsible for leading the global development and design of an associate experience strategy that supports the corporate goals of acquiring/retaining top talent and being an employer of choice. This includes overseeing development of employer marketing and positioning both internally and externally, the associate life cycle (pre-hire to alumni), new hire onboarding experience, ongoing associate engagement through the value proposition, associate sentiment analysis and measurement, as well as reporting and action planning for firm-wide usage. Other responsibilities include partnering with various HR functions to address their marketing and promotional needs as it relates to fostering and enhancing the associate experience.


Associate Experience Strategy and Oversight

  • Lead development of strategic approach to the associate end-to end experience. Build new ways of driving and influencing associate experiences to foster engagement, enablement and impact.

  • Optimize cross-functional partners to explore the intersection of the employee experience environments: technology, physical space and culture to support the development of a strong experience. Enhance our approach to building awareness of the Associate Value Proposition [benefits], partnering with HR Marketing to refresh the positioning and narrative. In partnership with Associate Communications, develop and implement a communication strategy that leverages all available channels. Oversee design and development of a TRP Alumni community.

Employment Marketing

  • Lead team of program managers in the development of employer brand messaging and marketing strategies to attract top talent, leveraging our culture as a key differentiator for the firm. Responsible for identifying what makes T. Rowe Price attractive to candidates. Regularly assesses the external market to identify trends and areas of leverage for the organization. Develop and implement strategic plans for employer brand that supports Talent Acquisition based on business needs, talent strategy, diversity and inclusion and workforce plans. Lead the development and execution of the creative components and the market facing message in partnership with key partners. Ensure alignment with the firm’s global brand strategy [i.e., strategic investing], while reflecting the ‘humanity’ of the brand. Serve as primary contact to Global Brand marketing. Oversee agency management.

Associate Sentiment

  • Optimize and refine existing feedback mechanisms for gathering data and information on associates’ thoughts and perspectives and general health of the organization. Simplify processes for greater adoption. Assess firm-wide survey for efficiency, effectiveness and impact. Implement processes to both share and operationalize analytics to solve issues of enablement and engagement. Develop rigorous action planning infrastructure and processes to support Business Unit needs regarding associate engagement. Incorporate pulse surveying techniques to support the firm’s and BU needs for timely information on associate views. Design and manage process for collecting and disseminating data on onboarding, exit and pulse surveys. Develop process for aggregating external surveys in which TRP participates; develop a strategy for using the data, including recognition and accolades in employment marketing both internally and externally. Oversee vendor management.

Operating and Engagement Models

  • Facilitate design of operating and engagement models within a newly formed team; leverage as a foundation for building like models with firm-wide partnerships. Develop relationships across stakeholder groups and processes to support collaboration. Lead cross-organizational projects; effectively communicating progress.

People Leadership

  • Leads team of professionals in collaborating to meet department goals. Communicates strategy and appropriately aligns team members to support the work. Provides performance feedback/coaching and collaborates with team members on their performance and career development.



  • College degree and 6 years of related work experience, or

  • Associate degree and 8 years related work experience, or

  • High School diploma/equivalent and 10 years related work experience

  • Background in marketing with a focus on analytics and marketing principles

  • Exceptional creative thinking and problem solving skills

  • Extensive project management experience, including leading cross-functional initiatives

  • Comfort with ambiguity; ability to redirect efforts seamlessly

  • Demonstrated ability to effectively navigate interpersonal communications with all levels at T. Rowe Price and external organizations

  • Demonstrated ability to comfortably maintain poise and diplomacy

  • Demonstrated ability to work well with other internal department associates in order to deliver high quality results

  • Demonstrated ability to think critically on a strategic level, take initiative and problem-solve

  • Marketing experiences: financial services, packaged goods, technology, etc.

  • Experience in Human Resources marketing ,and/or communications or associate engagement

  • Statistical knowledge and skills, including experience with statistical software, research practices

  • Masters of Business Administration a plus
