Want to be part of an experienced Agile team working at the hub of GEICO systems?
The MSI Client Team is seeking a highly motivated .Net Build Master to work alongside a team of talented developers supporting the MSI Client system which is the critical hub of GEICO's systems. In this role, you will have the opportunity to learn about many of GEICO's systems as Client is a key component to all of our critical systems.
The candidate should be proficient with TFS and .Net technologies; the candidate will be responsible for build activities such as Branching, Merging, Feed generation (Alpha, Beta and PROD) and consumption, Candidate is expected to do Package staging & deployments to various non production and production environments; Trouble shooting for build failures and Solution setup is a must.
The role also includes, but is not limited to the following activities:
Coordination with the external teams such as Middleware and SQL teams to perform config updates and transformations
Monitoring Sever Health
Perform post production build activates
Execute daily merge for code sync up between branches
Attending production release calls and outage calls
Build setup
Code coverage issues monitoring
Build configurations
Qualifications:
A minimum of 5 years of software development experience in large scale distributed environment and a Bachelor's degree
Excellent communication and organizational skills and a strong commitment to continual process improvement is necessary.
Ability to work with multiple development, and system infrastructure support teams.
Demonstrated ability to effectively drive results.
Experience in working both independently and in a collaborative team environment
Skills:
Attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills. Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
Ability to work with specific deadlines.
