PRIMARY PURPOSE OF THE POSITION

  • The Global Client Investment Reporting Specialist manages the end-to-end production and distribution process for completing repeatable and ad-hoc client reports for specified business unit(s), ensuring compliance and brand standards are met. The Specialist uses in-depth knowledge of client requirements to interact with data or content providers and support teams to resolve issues and establish additional requirements, while ensuring the report is delivered on time and with the highest quality. As needed, the incumbent participates in special projects as well as process improvement initiatives.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Workflow/Production/Quality Assurance: Responsible for end-to-end production and distribution of a variety of repeatable and ad-hoc reports. Organizes and manages multiple tasks with changing priorities. Workflow involves the negotiation, establishment and management of deadline dependencies to meet client deadlines through coordination of data and content providers throughout the supply chain. Uses a variety of software/technology to compile existing components and create new exhibits as required. Ensures brand standards are met and is ultimately accountable for accuracy of reports prior to distribution. Identifies errors and seeks a timely resolution; directs content and data providers as needed. Manages report inventory using department technology platforms and procedures. Develops in-depth knowledge of investment strategies, data, business/product lines, and individual client requirements to respond to client queries relating to content or data. Responsible for proper archival of reports to meet firm and client compliance requirements. Ensures sufficient back-up support when out of office through training peers on responsibilities, inclusive of systems and processes.

  • Process Improvement/Project Participation: Identifies process enhancements geared towards improving client service, efficiency and quality. Use various methods and resources, both within and outside of the team/department, to understand all facets of an issue or an improvement opportunity, to undertake a level of analysis to understand potential efficiency increases, and to aid in the resolution of ideas and issues. Leverages subject matter expertise to participate in and support projects internal and external to GCIR.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required

  • General knowledge and technical aptitude for working with software and technology platforms (MS Office, databases)

  • Ability to independently make decisions and problem solve

  • Demonstrated ability to learn new technology or processes quickly

  • Demonstrated ability to work within deadline driven environment – able to prioritize multiple deadlines while being mindful of the collective demands of the team

  • Calm under pressure of unpredictable work volumes and stringent deadlines

  • Detail oriented with excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Proven ability to effectively communicate, collaborate, and negotiate with all levels of the organization

  • Strong organization skills

  • Demonstrated client service skills

  • High school diploma/equivalent and 2 years related work experience, or

  • Associate degree and 1 year related work experience, or

  • College degree

  • Adobe Creative Suite

Preferred

  • Knowledge of and proficiency in both MAC and PC environment

  • Basic Knowledge of investment industry and products

  • Project Management Skills
