The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following: security patrols, access control, security related personnel escort duties, traffic, parking control, law and order duties, as well as security and fire safety surveillance. Other duties as assigned.
U.S. Citizenship; At least 21 years of age; H.S. Diploma/GED or certain equivalency; Minimum two (2) years armed security or law enforcement experience OR minimum two (2) years of honorable service as a member of any U.S. Armed Forces component with a primary or secondary Military Occupational Specialty consistent with Security or Law Enforcement; Fluently speak, read, comprehend, and compose coherent written reports in English; Ability to prepare detailed written reports and fill out forms; Current Secret Level Security Clearance preferred. Successfully pass an employment physical and physical agility testing; Successfully pass background checks to include criminal, credit, and driving record; Successfully pass all training and obtain required certifications to include CPR, First Aid, and AED; Successfully obtain and maintain an Armed DC SPO license; Must be able to obtain and maintain the required U.S. Government Security Clearance up to a Top Secret level; Must meet client suitability.
